Souvenirs

Souvenirs sounds like a pretty simple category, but just looking at my wall reminds me that it’s not. The cute little Aladdin shows that make everyone go awww will have to be transferred to my friend on Monday. They were bought in pure despair and in Multan for her little son, as I slowly began accepting the fact that there exist no Pakistani toys. Thus, it turns out that souvenirs are things that you bought for the unfortunate people who had to stay home but then you realize on the return flight that you just like them too much.

My brother didn't want his Swati cap, so I could keep it as I had liked it before and it came in handy as temperatures had dropped to -8 C.

The easiest category of souvenirs are those things that lovely people have given to you. Doesn’t usually happen on holidays? Happens in Pakistan all the time. New experience.

And last but not least, the souvenirs I bought myself because they were just irresistible.
