Gender Equality Now – Poster Exhibition at the Arts Council

One of the highlights of my trip to Pakistan was seeing the poster exhibition on gender equality (organised by http://www.posterfortomorrow.org/) in the Arts Council in Karachi. The different ways in which the artists had expressed this societal problem were very entertaining and thought provoking. The low point of my trip though, was not being able to chat with other attendees. Unfortunately my friend and I had to leave due to the approaching thunderstorm which hit Karachi by surprise this December. Thus, I would welcome comments below from people who have either been there or looked at the selection in the video below or generally people who agree with me that men should wear burkhas in in order to improve the safety situation.

    • Hehe, it’s my favourite hiking song from Notts uni Hiking Club. Also, its theme of workers’ liberation resonated for me with the exhibition’s theme of gender equality. Just don’t tell anyone that I used it, as I haven’t paid for the copyright 😛
